From Google Suite and Microsoft Office to Kaltura and dozens of mobile apps, these resources will enhance your productivity and learning life at the University.
Google Suite
With University of Minnesota access to G Suite apps (Google Apps), you can create and collaborate on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations online. Plus, you get a suite of applications that includes:
- Gmail
- Google Calendar
- Google Drive (with unlimited storage)
- Google Hangouts
You may maintain access to your University Gmail and Google Apps for a limited period after you graduate (refer to Account End of Life Reference Guides for more information).

Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus is available free of charge to students registered for at least one credit in the current term at the University. For directions on how to install Office 365 on your personal device, visit the Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus page for faculty, staff, and students.
Kaltura
Kaltura is a storage platform for video and audio files. It may be accessed directly or through Canvas. Use it to record your screen or your webcam, or you to upload audio or video files created elsewhere.
Online Proctoring
Your instructor(s) will communicate how scheduled exams will function. You may be required to take exams or quizzes online using Respondus Lockdown Browser or Proctorio.

You have access to apps designed to support your learning career and your life at the University. Check with your campus or college to learn what apps might be available and most helpful to you.
