This interdisciplinary major provides a well-rounded curriculum that draws heavily from courses in business, general education, management, marketing, and accounting. It is designed to help students understand matters of performance and risk relevant to financial services within a company; assess consumer financial needs; describe and apply financial concepts, theories, and tools; and prepare personal financial plans.
All admission materials must be submitted to the Office of Admissions no later than 4:30 p.m. Central on the deadlines noted.

Students enrolled in 0.5 or more credits at UMC pay a $250 UMC Campus Fee each semester. The Crookston Campus Fee helps to fund technological infrastructure and student academic support including advisors, tutoring, library, career counseling, and accessibility.
