The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Online Pathway is available to students who have an AA degree from a Minnesota community college or tribal community college or have completed the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MNTC). Our online pathway provides a comprehensive psychology curriculum that focuses on understanding and applying the scientific method to the problems of individual and social human behavior. After completing a BA degree in psychology at UMN Morris, you will be fully prepared for a wide range of careers or to further your study in graduate school.
As an online psychology student, you’ll work closely with your academic advisor to develop a curriculum that is suited to your goals and provides you with credit for prior learning experiences related to psychology. Because you are coming to UMN Morris with an AA degree or having completed the MNTC, you can begin taking upper level psychology courses right away.
Is the Online Psychology Pathway Right for You?
Our online psychology pathway welcomes students who:
- Have completed an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Minnesota or the MNTC, with an overall cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.
- Want to pursue a BA degree at a reasonable pace while staying in your community for work, family, and life.
- Are highly motivated, work well independently, and have good time management skills.
- Enjoy being part of a virtual learning community.
Successful completion of introductory statistics and general psychology courses is recommended before beginning the pathway.
