Veterinary Pharmacotherapy: Prevention, Pain, Gastrointestinal Module 1, Preventative therapy, covers prevention of diseases, including worm, flea, and tick prevention; animal dental hygiene, and obesity prevention.
In Module 2, Pain, we address pain pathway and general medications used in the treatment of acute and chronic pain; spending additional time on osteoarthritis, which is a common cause of chronic pain in both dogs and cats.
Module 3, GI, covers medications used for common pet gastrointestinal problems such as nausea, constipation, and diarrhea; this module also covers pancreatitis and inflammatory bowel disease in depth.
